PPI Producer Price Index

It is the conjunctural indicator for the prices of goods in the primary distribution channel, that is, producer prices. It reflects the average variation in the price of a basket of goods produced in the country for domestic consumption as well as for export and includes the primary and secondary sectors, but not the services sector. Since 2007, it is determined by DANE (it was formerly established by the Central Bank) as part of the PLANIB. |
