Political culture survey
The political culture survey is a novel statistical operation that enquires into the perceptions of colombian citizens regarding their political environment, and explores the knowledge people have of democracy and their level of support for this political regime. likewise, it examines awareness regarding the mechanisms and spaces provided for citizen participation, and the perceptions regarding their usefulness. it enquires about electoral behavior in general in order to relate it to the motivations that lead people to vote or to abstain form doing so. on the other hand, the survey explores the perceptions regarding political parties and confidence in the institutions, as a an across the board variable for the study. this survey forms part of the new studies that DANE carries related to aspects of colombian political culture.
