Vital statistics
Vital statistics are continuous statistics regarding births, deaths, and marriages, which make it possible to maintain a flow of information revealing the changes occurred in mortality, fecundity, and nuptiality levels and patterns, thus providing a dynamic view of the population which complements the static view provided by censuses.

  • Deaths due to external causes by age groups and sex according to municipality where they occurred and the list of 56 groups of causes (based on the international classification of diseases ICD - 9)
