The objectives of this research project are to examine the country’s construction potential through the study of construction licenses; quantify the total meters approved for construction according to use, type of license (urban, suburban and rural), type of request (new and/or modification), type of construction (new and/or expansion), and socioeconomic strata;  measure the number of licenses approved for construction according to  use, type of license (urban, suburban and rural), type of request (new and/or modification), type of construction (new and/or expansion), and socioeconomic strata; and calculate the area and number of approved licenses by department and municipality, according to housing and other uses.
