Annual manufacturing survey
The objective of this survey is to obtain basic information about the structure, characteristics, and evolution of the industrial sector. the eam was carried out for the first time in 1955. over the years, the methodology has been adjusted in order to keep it updated and in conformity with the changes and innovations generated in the sector. in 1992, the study underwent a general revision in order to establish a clearer and more expedite communication with the industrial sector and facilitate the filling out of the forms, using the accounting language of the unified accounting plan -puc, established by the superintendency of corporations. for the 2000 survey, some changes were introduced in the form, applying the uniform international industrial classification of all economic activities, revision 3, designed by the united nations and adapted for colombia by DANE - isic rev. 3 a.c. for activities, and the central product classification, version 1, adapted for colombia - cpc see . 1.0 a.c.
