According to the methodology of the Commission for Cigarette Reference Price, Decree 2427 of 2007, DANE certifies the sales value of cigarettes to the public. To be considered valid, the reference prices have to meet all calculation conditions.

On December 26, in accordance with the regulations in force for that date, DANE issued the cigarette reference price certification; today in compliance with article 348 of law 1819 of 2016 the director of the National Administrative Department of Statistics-DANE modifies the aforementioned certification as follows:
