In May 2015, the production of ready-mix concrete reached 742.1 thousand cubic meters, representing an increase of 3.0% compared to the same month of 2014. The 3.0% increase in ready-mix concrete is mainly explained by the increase in the purpose of buildings (16.7%) contributing 4.5 percentage points to the total variation. In contrast, the decline in the purpose of  civil works (-5.9%) detracted 1.5 percentage points from the change.
