In this stage, the implementation of the actions established in the improvement plan proposed by CEI is verified and assessed. The objective is to enhance the implementation of and compliance with the quality requirements and the Code of Good Practice for Official Statistics in different stages of statistical production process of the operations that are being assessed.
The improvement plans become a tool for statistical quality assurance. These plans show entities’ management of the implementation of improvement actions into their statistical operations.
Monitoring the implementation of improvement plans
The monitoring system is defined to display in a quick and timely manner, the progress in the implementation of statistical operations improvement plans, assessed within the framework of the Methodology for the assessment and certification of quality in the process of statistical production. Through this system it is possible to generate the reports to check the status of each plan, as well as load of evidence and set alarms for the products that have expired or are about to expire.
