Technical instruments that are used to organize and categorize the features of economic, social and environmental realities. Its purpose is to ensure the comparability of information over time in order to contribute to the process of normalization, standardization and harmonization. El DANE must build, maintain, disseminate, monitor, evaluate and manage the System of Nomenclature and Economic and Social Classifications, ensuring consistency, comparability and integration of the NSS, following the recommendations and guidelines and applying the international statistical standards and quality model.
