| Satellite accounts are an extension of the System of National Accounts, sharing the basic concepts, definitions and classifications. These Accounts extend the analytical capacity of national accounting to certain areas of socio-economic interest in a flexible way, without overloading or distorting the central system. Colombia is currently developing the following Satellite accounts: Environment, Tourism, Culture and Health, and Social Security. |
